This Privacy Policy describes how GritGrowth LLC ("GritGrowth," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our websites (gritgrowth.co, consulting.gritgrowth.co, get.gritgrowth.co), submit a lead form, book a call, or otherwise interact with us. Questions? Email cole@gritgrowth.co.

Who we are

GritGrowth LLC is a small digital agency based in Arlington, Texas. We build websites, booking systems, and marketing operations for local service businesses and mid-market operators. You can reach the team at cole@gritgrowth.co.

Information we collect

We only collect information that helps us respond to inquiries, schedule calls, run our business, and measure the performance of our advertising. Specifically:

  • Contact details you give us in a form or on a booking page: name, phone number, email address.
  • Qualifier answers you give us: type of business, city, and whether you currently have a website ("yes" / "no").
  • Technical information about your visit: page URL, referrer, IP address, browser and operating system (user agent), and timestamps.
  • Marketing attribution: UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), and click identifiers like fbclid and gclid passed in the URL.
  • Cookies set by advertising and analytics tools, including Meta's _fbp and _fbc cookies and Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*).

How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry, schedule a call, and follow up about a potential engagement.
  • To deliver the services you hire us to deliver.
  • To measure how visitors find and use our sites so we can improve them.
  • To measure and optimize our advertising on platforms like Meta (Facebook / Instagram) and Google so we don't waste money showing ads to people who don't want them.
  • To send transactional emails (e.g., a confirmation we received your form) and, if you're already a client, occasional updates about your project.
  • To prevent abuse and keep our sites secure.

Cookies and tracking

We use first-party cookies and third-party scripts for analytics and advertising attribution. The most relevant ones:

  • Google Analytics 4 — sets _ga / _ga_* cookies to count unique visitors and measure traffic sources. Where a consent banner is shown, analytics storage follows your consent choice.
  • Meta Pixel — sets _fbp and (if you arrived from a Meta ad) _fbc cookies. We fire standard PageView events on all pages, a custom Lead197_PageView event on the /start ad-landing page, and a Lead event when you submit a lead form.
  • Meta Conversions API (CAPI) — when you submit a lead form, we send a server-side copy of the Lead event to Meta containing a hashed version of any information you provided (name, phone), the cookies above, your IP, and your user agent. This is for ad-measurement deduplication.
  • You can opt out of Meta interest-based ads at https://www.facebook.com/adpreferences and Google interest-based ads at https://adssettings.google.com. Your browser also lets you clear cookies and use private browsing.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers we rely on to run our business:

  • Cal.com — to schedule calls when you book a meeting.
  • Airtable — as our lightweight CRM where leads and clients are stored.
  • Slack — to notify our team internally when a new lead comes in.
  • An email service provider — to send and receive email related to your inquiry.
  • Meta Platforms — for ad measurement via the Pixel and Conversions API described above.
  • Google — for site analytics via Google Analytics 4.
  • Our hosting, DNS, and infrastructure providers — strictly to operate the sites.

How long we keep it

Lead and client records are kept in Airtable for as long as we're actively talking with you, plus a reasonable period afterward for our records and to honor follow-up requests. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention windows of the providers above. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Your rights, below).

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can email us at cole@gritgrowth.co to: see what information we have about you, correct it, delete it, or ask us to stop emailing you. We'll do our best to honor your request within a reasonable time, and in any event within the period required by applicable law.

If you're in California, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, and the right to opt out of certain sharing. If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection. To exercise any of these, just email us.

Children

Our services are intended for businesses and adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, give notice on the site. Continued use of the sites after a change means you accept the updated policy.
